A Transformative Gift to Advance Medical Imaging

A visionary gift of $4.5 million from Harry Triguboff AO and the Triguboff Foundation has helped transform diagnostic imaging at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, ensuring patients have access to the most advanced MRI technology.

This extraordinary philanthropic gift, along with contributions from other generous donors, will fund two next-generation MRI machines and the refurbishment of the Hospital’s MRI facilities, which will be named the Moshe and Frieda Triguboff MRI Suite in recognition of the Triguboff Family’s generosity.

MRI technology plays a vital role in almost every area of the hospital, supporting emergency stroke intervention, neurology, cardiology, respiratory medicine, cancer care, emergency trauma and countless other specialties. Every day, clinicians rely on MRI imaging to make fast, accurate decisions during some of the most critical moments in a patient’s care.

The new technology will help meet growing demand for imaging services while delivering quicker, more precise scans. It will provide clinicians with sharper diagnostic information, enabling earlier diagnosis, improved treatment planning and better patient outcomes. The upgraded MRI Suite will also strengthen St Vincent’s world-leading research capability, helping accelerate discoveries that benefit patients across Australia.

This transformational gift ensures St Vincent’s remains at the forefront of medical imaging innovation, providing world-class care.

On behalf of our patients, clinicians and researchers, we extend our deepest gratitude to Harry Triguboff AO and the Triguboff Family for their extraordinary commitment to advancing healthcare at St Vincent’s.

“This extraordinary gift will ensure patients and clinicians have access to the most advanced MRI technology available, supporting faster diagnoses, better treatment decisions and groundbreaking research for years to come.”
