Register online, grab your rod and reel, and head to your favourite fishing spot on 2-27 April 2025 for the Pirtek Fishing Challenge.
Now in its 17th year, the Challenge is a two-day event encompassing the spirit of getting together with your friends and family, having fun, and supporting medical research. Catch, snap, release, and upload a photo for your chance to win a share of $330,000 in cash and prizes —open to all ages.
“The Challenge is designed to allow people of all ages and experience to get involved and enjoy a couple of days on the water. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an experienced angler or picking up a rod for the first time. The PIRTEK Fishing Challenge is all about getting together with your friends and family, having fun and supporting our charity partners.” Michael Guest, Event Director, Pirtek Fishing Challenge
Proceeds support St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney’s Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit, driving groundbreaking research into Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, HIV, and neurocognitive health under the leadership of Prof Bruce Brew AM.
Everyone who registers ($30 + postage) receives a limited edition Pirtek Fishing Challenge cap, brag mat and sticker. Plus, each Junior who enters receives a pack of Berkley lures, valued at $9.95.
Thank you to Michael Guest, the team at Pirtek, and all participants of the Pirtek Fishing Challenge for generously supporting the Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit.
