Getting “in it for good”

In February, the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation was delighted to launch the Evolution Giving Circle, an exciting new initiative that aims to connect young business, medical and community leaders to support the St Vincent’s Curran Endowment through annual gifts.

The engine room of the new program is the Evolution Advisory Committee, made up of a group of committed young philanthropists who share a strong connection with the Foundation and our Hospitals. The Advisory Committee is led by Jeremy Byrne (Chair) Executive Director of Coco Republic and Maggie Liu, Partner at Deloitte Private, who are both also Directors of the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation Board.

They are joined by fellow committee members:

  • Matthew Duncan
  • Michael Frazis
  • Greer George
  • Dr Brett Leavers
  • Anna Longley
  • Simon Mills
  • Andrew Muston
  • Annabel Rogers

The committee is dedicated to growing the Endowment by engaging the next generation of philanthropists, connecting emerging community leaders with emerging clinicians, and promoting the work of St Vincent’s through their networks.

Also of interest to all participants is the opportunity to share ideas and build close relationships with like-minded young leaders with an interest in giving back for good.

Supporters of this special Giving Circle are “in it for good” and commit to providing an annual or monthly donation to the St Vincent’s Curran Endowment Fund, which has underpinned and enabled innovation, research and best practice through annual grants to St Vincent’s Hospitals for more than 36 years.

These young supporters follow in the tradition of many of our loyal Endowment donors who support the growth of the fund through annual gifts, and are a very special part of our Foundation family.

We thank Merivale, Hotel Centennial, Levantine Hill and PMG for their support of our Evolution Giving Circle initiative.
