In February, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney and St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith welcomed Ms Heidi Bayliss as the new CEO, extending her impressive career in health spanning more than 30 years.
Heidi commenced her career as a Registered Nurse and progressed to Clinic Nurse Specialist with a focus on intensive care nursing, before moving into management roles, including Cardiac Services Manager and Assistant Director of Clinical Services at North Shore Private Hospital. In 2019, Heidi moved to St Vincent’s Health Australia as CEO of the Mater Hospital, where she developed a positive culture among staff, overseeing several improvements including the enhancement of Cancer Services with development of the Kay Van Norton Centre for Wellbeing.
Many of our donors who also support St Vincent’s Mater Hospital would be as delighted as we are that Heidi is now taking the helm at Darlinghurst and Griffith. In this role, Heidi also joins the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation Board. Welcome Heidi.
We are also delighted to welcome Joshua O’Rourke to the role of St Vincent’s Curran Foundation Deputy CEO to assist CEO Shanthini Naidoo and the Foundation team to continue to grow the impact of philanthropy. Joshua has more than 16 years experience within the charitable sector including leadership roles at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Compassion Australia and Amnesty International.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to the mission and values closely aligned with our own. We look forward to introducing Joshua to you at upcoming Foundation events.
