For the first time in thirteen years, the Pirtek Fishing Challenge will be a two-day event on the 17 & 18 April and registrations are now open.
The Pirtek Fishing Challenge is all about getting together with your friends and family, having fun and supporting medical research.
Open to all ages, whether you are an experienced angler or picking up a rod for the first time, this online fishing competition – catch, photo and release – boasts over $240,000 in cash and prizes.
The proceeds from the event will go towards the Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. The Unit conducts research into neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, HIV and neurocognitive activity to find improved treatments. The work carried out under the direction of Professor Bruce Brew AM is ground breaking and internationally recognised. The funds raised by the Pirtek Fishing Challenge will go towards ensuring the incredible work continues towards this life-saving goal.
So, register now and lock in 17 & 18 April and Fish for Medical Research.
