This year marks 130 years since the Sisters of Charity opened Australia’s first hospice in a small cottage in Darlinghurst. From it’s humble beginnings, Sacred Heart has grown to become a leading support facility offering comprehensive rehabilitation services as well as specialist supportive and palliative care.

We invite you to join Associate Professor Anthony Schembri AM, CEO, St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, for a special live stream event to celebrate and reflect on Sacred Heart’s 130 year journey, including 20 years since the establishment of Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Services.

Proceedings commence with guest speakers Sr Clare Nolan rsc, Congregational Leader of the Sisters of Charity of Australia and Paul McClintock AO, Chair, St Vincent’s Health Australia, followed by an expert panel of St Vincent’s specialists discussing the evolution of Sacred Heart’s supportive and palliative care, and rehabilitation services, and how innovations like Virtual Health and Hospital in the Home, will shape the future.
