ABOUT THE LIFE BALL
Now in its sixth year, the Life Ball is St Vincent’s Hospital’s signature fundraising event. Guests enjoyed a spectacular performance by Samantha Jade, while enjoying a night of good food and great fun with friends!
Guests also spent the night bidding on auction items and donating to raise money for mental health initiatives at St Vincent’s. In particular, they pledged to build and establish a Prevention and Recovery Centre (PARC). This “step-up and step-down” support service will be built within a new residential unit near the St Vincent’s Darlinghurst Campus. It will promote early intervention to reduce acute admissions and provide rehabilitation care with medical supervision.
Thanks to everyone’s support we announced $2.45 million towards the development of this life-saving service! A special shout out to the Order of Malta NSW Branch, who made a significant donation on the night.
We would also like to give a HUGE thank you to our Presenting Partners – Qantas, Autosports Group, Volvo Cars Rushcutters Bay, Levantine Hill and Bensons – who made this night possible. With their help, and thanks to the generosity of our guests, we can continue our long tradition of caring for the poor and vulnerable in our society with excellent and compassionate care.
