Introducing Heartbreak 100!

On August 5, 2023, Jordan will conquer the legendary Heartbreak Hill in Bondi, running a gruelling 100kms with over 2,500 metres of elevation to raise awareness for heart health and raise funds for cardiac research at St Vincent’s Hospital. Jordan was inspired to take on this epic challenge by his father Warren William’s tenacity facing debilitating cardiac arrhythmia issues.

Warren was an athlete competing at a national level, living an extremely healthy lifestyle when his heart problems struck. He survived a cardiac arrest and is now an advocate for heart health and an Ambassador for the Australian Heart Foundation. Warren is also a Community Champion for St Vincent’s Hospital, having coordinated running fundraisers for frontline staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, Warren and Jordan run a coaching group for junior athletes called Up and Running and an adult training group called The Run Squad.

Jordan’s challenge – Heartbreak 100 – takes place on 5 August, the weekend before the City2Surf.

With your support, Jordan aims to raise $100,000 for cardiac research at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney.
