St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney is an award-winning non-profit healthcare provider that has been delivering outstanding healthcare to its community since it was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1909.
The Foundation works closely with St Vincent’s Private Hospital to assist in enabling the Hospital to continue leading the way in patient care, providing our doctors with the latest and best equipment available and training our clinicians for the future.
The Hospital recently underwent a major redevelopment project that included the new 13-level Mother Francis McGuigan rsc Wing, conversion to single-occupancy rooms, new operating theatres and surgical suites, and a state-of-art rehabilitation facility. The Foundation thanks our supporters for contributing $43.7 million towards the total $150 million building and refurbishment costs.
With the building redevelopment now complete, our focus is to support the ongoing and immediate needs of the Hospital, which include:
• Providing our clinicians with the latest equipment to support the most advanced diagnosis and treatment options for our patients (our Equipping Your Hospital of the Future campaign)
• Growing the Hospital’s minimally invasive robotic technology to enhance patient recovery
• Supporting clinical education and research for continually improving healthcare.
