One lucky fan will get to wave the starter’s flag at this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000 as part of the “Ultimate Bathurst” raffle prize being offered by our long-term supporter PIRTEK.
Funds raised from the Ultimate Motorsports Raffle support St Vincent’s Hospitals Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit.
PIRTEK has garnered the support of their friends in the motorsport industry to create a money-can’t-buy prize for a couple of lucky winners who will be treated as SUPER VIP guests at one of the world’s greatest motorsport events this October.
The prize includes flights and accommodation for two guests for a VIP weekend at the Repco Bathurst 1000 where you can experience a hot lap around the Mount Panorama track, tour the pits and meet the race winners in the PIRTEK Victory lane, plus much more. Valued at $30,000, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
A limited number of tickets are being offered for $20 each and all proceeds will support St Vincent’s Hospital’s Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit. Tickets are available until 8 September.
It was described as an unforgettable, lifetime experience by last year’s winner, Julie Humphries, who happens to be a cardiology specialist and understands the importance and impact of corporate supporters such as PIRTEK.

“A lot of the day-to-day practice that I am involved in is very well researched, very evidence-based and I use it everyday to help patients. In neurosciences, there are a lot of unknowns and unless we support charities like the Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit, we’re not going to have the necessary information to help.”
Julie Humphries, 2022 winner
St Vincent’s Hospital’s Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research Unit is recognised as one of Australia’s leading Neurosciences Research Unit and focuses on research and developing treatments for chronic neurological and neurodegenerative brain disorders including Multiple Sclerosis, HIV-associated Neurocognitive Disorders, Alzheimer’s disease; Parkinson Disease and Stroke.
