A bequest is a lasting gift made in a Will.  Your Will offers you the chance to help others after your lifetime.  A bequest to St Vincent’s enables us to continue providing the best care and treatment for our patients for generations to come.  However large or small, your gift will help those who come after you.

Bequests to St Vincent’s have been transforming lives for well over a hundred years.  The first recorded bequest made to the Hospital was in 1880 to the sum of 20 pounds approximately $2,500 today.

If you choose to leave a bequest to St Vincent’s we welcome your input into the best use of your gift and will strive to fulfil your wishes.

You can do this by:

  • Gifting a specific amount of money
  • Leaving a specific item such as property, shares or artwork
  • Nominating a percentage of your estate
  • Leaving the residue of your estate, once your friends and family have been provided for

If you wish to leave a gift in your Will to the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation, St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney, Sacred Heart Health Service, St Joseph’s Hospital or St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith then we suggest you read the recommended wording here.
